What to expect at the treatment

At Bina Jangda Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine the needles we use are hair-thin and are designed not to cut the skin. They are inserted gently and shallowly. All needles are single use disposable needles. In the clinic we use the best and finest needles available for your comfort.

While each person’s experience of acupuncture is different, most people feel minimal sensation if any when the needles are inserted. This experience is vastly different from having an injection. Once the needles are in place, most of my patients tell me that they experience a feeling of deep relaxation and well-being that lasts for many hours after the treatment.
